INTRODUCTION

The lexicon of credit is complex and broad. Many terms have an agreed definition and common usage. Other terms are susceptible of multiple definitions. In this dictionary, the credit and collection professionals of Bernstein Law Firm have assembled the terms they have encountered most frequently and which have caused confusion or concern among the firm’s clients. We many have overlooked some terms and would appreciate knowing those that continue to raise questions among readers. Please let us have any suggestions for future editions.
